An Android app that allows users to create, submit and accept favors primarily targeted to college students coupled with a web-based application that allows admins to control, moderate and analyze activity of different favors. Features include end to end communication, favor location tracking.
Predicted the number of dengue cases each week in San Juan and Iquitos over a five year period using given environmental variables describing changes in temperature, precipitation and more from 1990. Utilized Linear Regression (OLS) as our baseline and then Ridge, Lasso, and ElasticNet Regression followed by Random Forests, Gradient Boosting and Bagging Trees with and without cross-validation.
J programming Language Compiler
A simple compiler for J (a stack-based language) using C. Written by constructing a parser to disassemble J code into tokens and generate the corresponding Assembly. Managed the stack to grow and shrink based on function calls, conditionals, operands, operators, and other variables
US Accidents Analysis
An examination of the US-accidents dataset which contains data on countrywide traffic accidents (over 2.5 million accidents) from 2016 - 2020). Performed extensive exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand and make inferences for any patterns and abnormalities within the data. Specifically, I looked into how different features of the data affect the severity of an accident taking place. Built models to predicts the severity of an accident given certain environmental features (achieved over 72% accuracy)
Audio Docking System
Designed and built an audio docking station from scratch consisting of i) an AC/DC power supply (utilized a transformer, full-wave rectifier, smoothing filter, and voltage regulator), ii) second-order active filters (high-pass and low-pass to create respective treble and bass components), iii) two-stage active amplifiers.
